Arrumio privacy

Arrumio for iPhone and Android keeps your content on your device, with no account or ads. This policy explains each platform’s features and services.
Who is responsible

Android — trips on your device
Trips, dates, lists, templates, photos and conversations stay in Arrumio’s private storage. There is no account, advertising, synchronization with LEVELHARD or remote AI service. Lists and templates work without internet access.
Android — assistant, photos and dictation
The optional assistant uses Google ML Kit/Gemini Nano on compatible devices. You confirm model preparation and any required download. Messages, trip context and photos selected for review are processed on your device; proposals change your packing list only after review and confirmation. You select photos or open the system camera; saved images are resized and their original metadata removed. Dictation requests microphone access when used and requires on-device speech recognition: there is no remote fallback if it is unavailable. Audio is not saved; a submitted transcription becomes part of local history.
Android — weather and images from links
City search uses an in-app GeoNames catalog, without sending your query or using GPS. Only when you request a forecast does your device contact MET Norway: that service receives your IP address and the selected city’s public coordinates. Trip names and dates, photos, lists and conversations are not sent. Forecasts are cached and may provide local assistant context. There are no background weather checks. Importing an image from an HTTPS link also gives the selected website connection data, such as your IP address, under its policy.
Android — local reminders
The optional day-before reminder depends on notification permission and system restrictions. Trip details may appear in the notification according to your lock-screen settings. It is not a weather-monitoring service.
Android — Google ML Kit technical data
Google ML Kit processes text, images and results on your device. The SDK sends Google usage and diagnostic metrics: device and app information, installation identifiers and, for generative features, user or device identifiers, configured languages, API configuration, input and output sizes, events, errors and performance. It may also check for updates and prepare models. This communication uses HTTPS and may occur when the SDK initializes; it is not limited to an assistant conversation. LEVELHARD adds no usage analytics of its own. The links below explain Google’s processing.
Android — backup and deletion
Manual backups contain trips, photos and conversations; weather preferences and cache are excluded. Import adds new records and preserves records with the same identifier. You choose when to export, import or share through Android’s system features, without broad file access. The selected destination receives the chosen content and follows its own policy. Exported backups have no password of their own. Automatic cloud backup and automatic transfer of app data between devices are disabled. Deleting records, clearing app storage in Android settings or uninstalling removes the corresponding local data, but not copies you exported or sent. Deleting app data does not delete technical metrics Google may retain under its policies.
iPhone (iOS) — Data on your device
Trip names and dates, items, templates, trip-cover and item photos, and up to 40 messages per trip stay in the app’s private storage. Arrumio does not send this content to its own server and requires no registration. Lists and templates work without internet access.
iPhone (iOS) — Optional on-device artificial intelligence
When you request help, Apple’s local model processes your message, trip details, items and a limited portion of the conversation on your iPhone. Arrumio uses no remote AI service. Availability depends on your device, system, language and Apple Intelligence settings; Apple manages the initial model download. Suggestions can be wrong and only add items or change checkmarks after your confirmation. You can clear the conversation history.
iPhone (iOS) — Photos and camera
You select the photos you want to import and may allow camera access to photograph your bag or items. Saved cover and item photos are resized and their original metadata is removed. Photos submitted for AI review are processed locally, are not saved in conversation history and are not sent to an Arrumio server. Visual analysis requires iOS 27 and a compatible model; it does not prove that your bag is complete.
iPhone (iOS) — Weather forecasts and alerts
When you select a destination city, the search is sent to Apple Maps and destination coordinates to Apple Weather. We do not access your current location. Forecasts are temporarily stored on your device; weather preferences and cache are not included in manual backups. Optional alerts use iOS notifications. Background checks depend on the system, connectivity and device settings; there is no continuous monitoring or guaranteed schedule. The day-before reminder asks you to check again, without claiming a weather change. The assistant may use recent forecasts as local context.
iPhone (iOS) — Microphone and dictation
The microphone and speech recognition are used only when you start dictation and grant iOS permissions. Transcription requires on-device recognition; Arrumio has no remote fallback. Audio is not saved. Transcribed text appears in the conversation field and, if you send it, becomes part of the local history. You can revoke permissions in iPhone Settings.
iPhone (iOS) — Images from the internet
When you import an image using an HTTPS link, your device connects to the website you selected. That website receives connection data, such as your IP address, under its own policies. Arrumio does not send your lists, conversations or photos in this request.
iPhone (iOS) — Sharing and backups
You can share content through the iOS share sheet or export a backup file without a password containing trips, photos and conversations. You choose where to save it, including On My iPhone, iCloud Drive or Google Drive when enabled in Files. The chosen service applies its own policies. Import adds new records and preserves existing records with the same identifier; there is no automatic synchronization. System backups may also include your data depending on your settings.
iPhone (iOS) — Deletion and recovery
Deleting a trip removes its active copy from the app; you can also clear history within the conversation. Exported, shared, recovery and backup copies remain under your control. If reading data fails, recovery preserves a local copy before starting over. Uninstalling the app removes its local storage but does not delete backups or files saved outside it.
iPhone (iOS) — No tracking in the app
Arrumio includes no ads, usage analytics or tracking SDK. Apple handles installation, TestFlight or App Store distribution, diagnostics and feedback according to its policies and your settings. Information you voluntarily send through TestFlight or support will be used to address your request and investigate problems.
