myABBA privacy
Updated on September 10, 2026
myABBA asks for no sign-up, shows no ads, does not track you and sells nothing. The only information that leaves your device is the text you type in the Conversation, and it is used only to generate the reply.
What this policy covers
myABBA is a place of peace and faith: the lesson of the day, the complete Bible, study, stories, games and a welcoming conversation in the light of Scripture. This policy explains, in plain language, what happens to your information when you use the iPhone app and the website.
Who is responsible
The iPhone app is published by LEVELHARD, of Roque Ribeiro da Silva, responsible for the app distributed on the App Store. The myABBA content and server (myabba.com.br) are operated by Nelson Borges Jr. Data protection officer (LGPD) and contact for anything about this policy: roque.ribeiro@levelhard.com.br.
There is no account
There is no sign-up, login, password or profile. myABBA never asks for your name, email, phone number, date of birth or any document. All of the app content is public and works without identification.
What stays only on your device
This data never leaves the iPhone. It lives in the app private area and is deleted when you uninstall the app. Conversation history: the messages exchanged are stored locally only, and the server does not keep your history. Preferences: font size, language, Bible bookmark, theme. Progress: day streak, achievements, game scores, parent panel state. Reading cache: chapters and lessons already opened, so the app works without internet.
What leaves the device
Two things, and nothing beyond them. The first is the text you type in the Conversation. It is sent to the myABBA server so that the reply can be generated by artificial intelligence. The upload includes only the latest messages of the current topic, to give the reply context. No identifier of yours travels with it, because there is no account, so there is no one to link the text to. The second is content requests: lesson of the day, Bible chapters, stories, liturgy. These are anonymous read requests, of the same kind any website receives. Like every server on the internet, the myABBA server temporarily records technical connection data (IP address and time) for security and abuse prevention. Those records are not used to build a profile or for advertising, and are discarded as soon as they are no longer needed for that purpose, subject to legal retention periods.
About the Conversation
The Conversation is run by artificial intelligence with a role restricted to comfort in the light of the Bible. The app says so permanently on the screen itself. This is not professional care: the spiritual comfort offered by myABBA does not replace pastoral, medical or psychological support. If you are in an emotional crisis, seek help now. In Brazil, CVV answers at 188, free of charge, 24 hours a day. For that reason, one request: avoid typing into the Conversation sensitive data that identifies you or someone else, such as full name, address, documents or health information about third parties.
Children and the myABBA for Kids area
myABBA has a children area with stories, prayers, games and videos. It follows the same rules as the rest of the app: no sign-up, no ads, no tracking and no collection of data from the child. The story videos are published on YouTube. Opening a video means leaving the curated myABBA content and accessing a Google service, which has its own policy. That is why opening any video is protected by an adult check, a multiplication problem a small child cannot solve alone. From the moment the video opens, the Google Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy) applies. The parent panel lets you turn on parent mode and set a usage timer. Those choices stay on the device only.
What myABBA does not do
It shows no ads. It uses no usage analytics tools and no third-party SDK in the iOS app. It does not track you across apps or websites, so it does not request tracking permission (ATT). It does not access contacts, photos, location, camera, microphone or health. It does not sell, rent or share your information with third parties for commercial purposes.
Sharing
Information is shared only in these situations. With the artificial intelligence provider that generates the Conversation reply, exclusively to produce that reply: Google (Gemini). With OpenAI, which generates on the server the audio narration of the texts, from the biblical and devotional content of the app; nothing you type in the Conversation is sent for that purpose. With Google/YouTube, if and when you open a video, after the adult check. Under legal obligation or court order.
Your rights
Under the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (Law 13.709/2018), you can request confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymization, portability or deletion of your data, and withdraw consent. In practice, since myABBA keeps no account and does not store your history, almost everything that exists about you is on your own device: deleting the app deletes that data. For any other request, write to roque.ribeiro@levelhard.com.br. Replies within 15 days.
Security
All communication between the app and the server uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS/TLS). No method is infallible, but we work to keep the smallest possible set of data: what is not collected cannot leak.
Changes to this policy
If anything changes, the date at the top changes with it and the new version is published on this same page. Relevant changes will be announced inside the app. Privacy questions: roque.ribeiro@levelhard.com.br.
